Twelve men (three teams of four) pumped a rail trolley backwards and forwards along a 2000 m. (1.24 mile) track a total of 101 times, covering a distance of 202 km. (125.5 miles) in 12 hours June 1, 1997. It took place on the Nene Valley Railway between Peterborough and Longueville stations in Cambridgeshire, England.
