Puerto Rican stars Ozuna (b. Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado) and Bad Bunny (b. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) bagged 23 single-ceremony nominations at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, respectively in 2019 and 2022. Bad Bunny won nine awards at the 29th edition on 29 September 2022, including Artist of the Year, Top Latin Album of the Year (Un Verano Sin Ti), Songwriter of the Year and Tour of the Year. His 23 nominations were announced on 18 August 2022.


Ozuna won an unrivalled 11 trophies at the 26th edition of the show, including Artist of the Year, Top Latin Album of the Year (Odisea) and Hot Latin Song of the Year (“Te Boté Remix”).
