Welcome to the Guinness World Records Italian Show – a weekly video series which features the most astonishing, shocking and awe-inspiring record attempts from the seventh series of Italy’s Lo Show dei Record.
This week’s record attempt is not for the faint-hearted as we see Australian circus and side-show entertainer Zoe Ellis (aka Zoe L'Amore) attempt to break her own record for the Most electric fan blades stopped using the tongue in one minute.
Holding a 35W fan in each hand, both set on the highest speed setting, Zoe needs to stop the blades more than 20 times to achieve a new record.
The fearless performer manages to stop the blades a total of 16 times and successfully achieves a huge new record of 32.
Zoe’s record has since been broken by Guinness World Records’ most prolific record-breaker Ashrita Furman with 35.
Nevertheless, Zoe still holds the record for Most mouse traps released on the tongue in one minute (female) – 24.
She is married to fellow daredevil entertainer Chayne Hultgren, aka “The Space Cowboy”, who also holds a number of eye-watering Guinness World Records titles including Most blow torches extinguished with the tongue in one minute, Most swords swallowed underwater and Heaviest weight pulled by the eye sockets.
