This week’s video we’re serving up a suitably nerve-shredding record attempt to coincide with Halloween, which sees Australia’s Chayne Hultgren, aka The Space Cowboy, set the record for Most apples held in the mouth and cut by chainsaw in one minute – self (blindfolded).
In the clip below, the extreme performance artist manages to keep steady hand to chop an incredible five apples with the deadly blade within the 60 second time limit, despite not being able to see during the attempt.
Chayne is an experienced chainsaw performer with many years of training, so please do not try this at home.
The Space Cowboy holds a huge variety of dangerous records including Highest throw and catch of a chainsaw while juggling (3.59 m) and Most chainsaw juggling catches on a unicycle (10).
The performer also achieved the title Most swords swallowed underwater with four, while on the set of 'Lo Show dei Record' in Milan, Italy, on 11 July 2014.
