Music fans and festival campers lathered up to help Irish Spring® break the Guinness World Records title for the Most people showering simultaneously (single venue).
Irish Spring® achieved the title on 15 June 2018 at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware (US), with 396 participants.
Though many concert attendees made up for the final count, ABC's The Bachelorette finalist Shawn Booth also participated.
The record was previously achieved by Delta Faucet (USA) with 331 people in Crawfordsville, Indiana, USA, on 27 June 2015.
In order to break the record there needed to be enough showers to cover all participants at the same time and the showers needed to last a minimum of five minutes.
Festival goers gathered in a custom built shower as water sprayed down from overhead and DJ Jim Pierson added to the excitement.
Fans and participants celebrated and promoted the event throughout the festival using #IrishSpringxFirefly.
