The youngest person to play in the English Premier League is Ethan Nwaneri (UK, b. 21 March 2007), who appeared for Arsenal against Brentford aged 15 years 181 days on 18 September 2022 at the Gtech Community Stadium, London, UK.
Nwaneri came on in the 92nd minute of Arsenal's 3-0 win over Brentford, due to his age he had to use a separate changing room to the rest of the team and fans even jokingly sang 'you've got school in the morning' as he came off the bench. This record was previously held by Harvey Elliot playing for Fulham against Wolves in 2019.
