The youngest goalscorer in the top division of Spanish football (soccer) is Lamine Yamal (Spain, b. 13 July 2007), who was aged 16 years 87 days when he scored for FC Barcelona against Granada in Granada, Spain, on 8 October 2023.
Yamal’s goal helped Barcelona recover from 2–0 to secure a 2–2 draw. He beat the record of Málaga’s Fabrice Olinga, who had scored aged just 16 years 102 days old in 2012. Yamal made his debut for Barcelona aged 15 – one of only five players to make their La Liga debut before their 16th birthday.
