Tallest candy-floss (cotton candy)

The tallest candy-floss (cotton candy) measures 6,56m and was achieved by Los Promillos Eventdienstleistung GmbH (Germany) in Bad Wünnenberg, Germany, on 8 September 2024.

This attempt took place during the village festival of Bad-Wünnenberg, which occurs every two years. A team of nine people started working around 8:00 AM, and the candy-floss was ready around 7:00 PM. The team was quite stressed throughout the day as it started raining in the afternoon, and they were concerned that the moisture in the air would destroy the candy floss once it was lifted vertically for the official measurement. Fortunately, the candy floss survived the humidity, and it was quickly distributed and eaten by the children of the village, who had gathered for the occasion. The organizers were overjoyed upon successfully breaking the record, surpassing the previous one, by more than 1 meter.
