The most concerts headlined in 24 hours in multiple cities is 15, achieved by Frank Turner (UK) in various cities across the UK on 4–5 May 2024.

The attempt celebrated the release of his 10th album, Undefeated, and raised money for Grassroots Music Venues and independent record stores in the UK.

Turner’s first gig started at 12.30 p.m. at Liverpool’s Jacaranda Baltic, and 24 hours – and 500 miles (800 km) - later, he completed his final gig at The Brook in Southampton.

He also performed at:

2.30 p.m.: Huddersfield Parish

4.00 p.m.: Leeds Boom

6.00 p.m.: Sheffield The Foundry

7.30 p.m.: Chesterfield Gasoline

9 p.m.: Nottingham Saltbox

11.30 p.m.: Birmingham RMBL

12 a.m.: Leamington Spa Temperance

2 a.m.: Leighton Buzzard Crooked Crow Bar

4 a.m.: London Camden Underworld

6 a.m.: Kingston Banquet

7.30 a.m.: Aldershot West End Centre

9 a.m.: Portsmouth Staggeringly Good Brewery

10.30 a.m.: Winchester The Railway.

The tickets for each of the shows had sold out.

Reflecting on the attempt, supported by FREENOW and the Music Venue Trust, Turner told GWR: “Aside from the physical challenge of the whole thing, my main memory is the sense of camaraderie – between me and my crew, with the venues, and with the crowds willing me on. The vibes of the whole thing were really beautiful and positive, and I was grateful for that.”

And the day wasn’t just memorable for Turner; newlyweds Eoin and Katie O’Mara left their wedding venue early to attend the Leamington Spa gig.

This wasn’t Turner’s first extreme music-tour challenge. In 2009, he played 24 shows in 24 hours in London, UK, the footage of which was used in his music video for “The Road”. In 2022, Turner also performed in all 50 US states in just 50 days. He was the third person – and the first non-American – to achieve this feat.
