Since he joined the National Hockey League as the New York Rangers’ (USA) goaltender, Henrik Lundqvist (Sweden) has become the only player in his position to record seven straight regular seasons with 30-plus wins, achieving the record-breaking run of 30, 37, 37, 38, 35, 36 and 39 victories between the seasons 2005/06 and 2011/12.
