The largest Thai dance consists of 7,218 participants and was achieved by Women's Association of Chiang Mai (Thailand) at Three Kings Monument in Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand on 19 April 2025.
As a part of Chiang Mai's 729th anniversary celebration, the Women's Association of Chiang Mai attempted the Guinness World Records title, Largest Thai Dance, to show the world Chiang Mai's traditional dance. The fingernail dance, or fon leb, was performed at the attempt by the people of Chiang Mai. The participants were from 5 years of age to those in their 80's. The dance is performed every year at the anniversary celebration.
