The largest Polar Bear dip consisted of 3,134 participants and was achieved by Badeglede (Norway) at Ølberg beach, Sola, Norway, on 13 December 2025
People had travelled all over the world for this record attempt, including but not limited to the UK, USA, Poland, Latvia and many other countries - some as far as Australia, all for the prestige of the Guinness World Records title. Norwegian media were present as was a strong sense of community and national pride, with Norwegian flags flying everywhere. Spirits among all participants were high despite the low temperatures!
