Highest annual earnings for a television actress (current year)

Reese Witherspoon (USA) is the highest-earning actress currently on television, with an estimated income for the year ending 31 December 2021 of $115 million, according to Forbes' Highest-Paid Entertainers 2022 list. The star, and producer, of The Morning Show (Apple TV+, 2019–) is the highest-paid woman on the top-25 list, at No.12, ahead of the only other female performer to make an appearance, Taylor Swift, at No.25 with annual earnings of $52 million.

Witherspoon reportedly earned over $1 million per episode for season two of The Morning Show – not including producing fees and ownership points – although the vast majority of her income for the year was from the sale of her production company, Hello Sunshine, which received a valuation estimated to be around $900 million.
