The highest altitude achieved on a motorcycle is 6,546 m (21,476 ft 4.54 in) and was achieved by Jiri Zak (Switzerland) on the Ojos del Salado, Chile, on 16 February 2020.


Jiri is part of the Grizzly Race Team which is a Swiss motorcycle team. Him and two other members, Urs and Adrian, took on the challenge, but Jiri was the one who went to break the world record.
