Sami Çetin (UK) set the fastest time on the Mario Circuit 1 track in the PAL version of Super Mario Kart (Nintendo, 1992) on the SNES. He completed the track in 57.90 seconds on 25 December 2013. Cetin is also the record holder for the NTSC version, completing Mario Circuit 1 in 56.19 seconds.
