Fastest lap of Nurburgring Nordschleife in Forza Motorsport 3

On 3 July 2011, Xbox 360 user BeFreak set a blisteringly fast lap time of 5 min 32.509 sec around the Nordschleife circuit, using the Aston Martin Lola car number 007 in the X Class. BeFreak’s closest rival is four milliseconds behind him. In terms of the real-life equivalent, the fastest recorded lap around the modern Nordschleife circuit for a non-production car is 6 min 47 sec, set in a Pagani Zonda in June 2010. The overall fastest lap ever timed on the actual circuit dates back to 1983, when the late Stefan Bellof of Germany completed a 6-min 11-sec qualifying lap in a Porsche 956, followed by a race lap time of 6 min 25 sec. The in-game experience, although increasingly realistic, still appears to be considerably faster than reality!
