The longest sitting volleyball rally was 239 passes and was achieved by the Great Britain men's sitting volleyball squad (UK) in celebration of International Paralympics Day 2011, in Trafalgar Square, London, UK, on 8 September 2011.
The record attempt was staged as part of the activities for International Paralympics Day 2011, which was held in London in the run up to the 2012 Olympic Games. It marked the release of tickets for the 2012 Paralympic events and celebrated the achievements of Great Britain's Paralympic athletes. Presenter Rick Edwards and Olympian Iwan Thomas were on hand to kick off the record attempt. The teams consisted of the GB men's team along with squad and club players.
