Most points scored in a WNBA game

The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) record for most points scored in a game by both teams is 236 by the Phoenix Mercury (USA) and the Indiana Fever (USA) on 29 September 2009. Phoenix defeated Indiana 120-116 in Game 1 of the WNBA Finals. Both teams each scored more points than any team previously in league history. The old mark was 115 by Phoenix against the Sacramento Monarchs (USA) on 13 June 2009.
