The game Plinko on TV game show The Price is Right requires the contestant to drop a token (Plinko Chip) down the Plink Board studded with pegs; as the chip falls, it is deflected by the pegs and ends up in one of a number of slots worth various amounts of prize money. During the filming of an episode on 22 July 2008, the producers forgot that the Plinko board had been rigged to always result in a $10,000 win, and the contestant managed three wins before the fault was detected; the board was reset, but the contestant was allowed to keep the $30,000.
