First games console to feature built-in ethernet

The first console to provide an ethernet port for online play as standard was the Xbox. Although the Dreamcast and the PlayStation 2 supported online play, they both required additional hardware to connect to broadband internet. The Dreamcast had a built-in 33K modem which was suitable for dial-up connections.
