The most first-round knockouts to begin a career by an individual boxer is 20 by Ali Raymi (Yemen) from 25 January 2011 to 10 November 2013. Ali Raymi only turned pro aged 37 and has commented that "the state of boxing is pathetic in Yemen", which is where all of his 20 fights have been to date. His fastest knockout was in just 17 seconds against Salman Al Umari on 7 July 2013 while his "slowest" victory took him 2 min 49 sec against Amad Algadsi on 4 May 2013.
