The largest frying pan measures 7.315 m (23 ft) in diameter, and was achieved by La Discada and Grupo Collado Acero (both Mexico) in Nuevo León, Mexico, on 21 June 2025.

The discada recipe included sausage, beef, pork, bacon, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and beer, all sautéed in pork lard. Cooking lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes with the participation of approximately 100 culinary students. Ingredients were pre-cut and transported in refrigerated trucks.
