The largest leather belt measures 19.13 m (62 ft 9 in) long, 68 cm (26.75 in) wide and 1 cm (0.39 in) thick. It was created by Yogeshbhai Thakorbhai Chavda (India) and was presented and measured in Kabod, Gujarat, India on 17 May 2012.
It took him only 27 hours to create the belt. The belt weighs 22.76 kg (50.18 lbs). Although not required by the guidelines, this belt was made from genuine leather.
