The country that consumes the most chewing gum per capita is Andorra, where each person on average consumed 900 g (2 lb) of gum within the year 2000. Interestingly, the US featured in fourth place alongside Israel, Liechtenstein and Switzerland with a total of 700 g (1 lb 9 oz) per capita.
