The fastest speed skateboarding on a temporary quarter pipe is 103.8 km/h achieved by Sandro Dias (Brazil) at the Administrative Center Fernando Ferrari, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, on 25 September 2025.
The attempt took place on a specially constructed ramp with seven platforms of different heights, designed to progressively test the limits of the sport. Sandro Dias, six-time world champion in skateboarding, successfully completed all seven jumps—one from each platform—without errors.
Having already gained valuable experience from the previous official attempt (on 07 September 2025), the team carried out a much more precise measurement process on this occasion. This confirmed that the earlier result had been slightly overestimated, which is why the official figure for this attempt is lower. However, it is important to highlight that the drop itself was performed from a higher platform: while the first attempt was executed from platform 6, the second attempt was launched from platform 7—the final and tallest platform prepared for this project. This means that despite the official measurement now being recorded as lower, the drop achieved in the second attempt was in fact performed from a noticeably greater height. Either in the ramp structure or in the skateboard were modified from the first official set-up, ensuring full consistency.
During the final and official Drop, Sandro reached 3.9 G-force and 280 kg of GRF (Ground Reaction Force) over eight seconds of duration, underscoring the physical demands of the achievement.
