The youngest football (soccer) player to score in the FIFA Club World Cup is Alexandre Pato (Brazil, b. 2 September 1989), aged 17 years 102 days in Tokyo, Japan, on 13 December 2006.
Alexandre Pato was playing in only his second professional game for Brazilian side Internacional when he scored against Al Ahly. He became the youngest-ever player to score in any senior FIFA men’s competition, breaking the record set by Pelé at the 1958 World Cup. Internacional went on to win the 2006 FIFA Club World Cup, defeating Barcelona 1–0 in the final.
