The largest working replica of a Game Boy Color handheld console measures 7 ft 4 in tall, 4 ft 1 in wide and 2 ft deep (2.23 x 1.24 x 0.61 m) and was revealed in 2022 by YouTuber Jake Carlini (USA).
Carlini ran Game Boy emulators on a PC connected to a plasma-screen television, and an Xbox adaptive controller was used to create the over-size buttons. The casing was made of plywood painted by Carlini's wife to match the Nintendo original.
