The first surviving giant panda triplets was achieved by Meng Meng (female), Shuai Shuai (male) and Ku Ku (male), born in captivity at Chimelong Safari Park (China) on 29 July 2014 in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, as verified on 29 July 2024.
The triplets' mother Ju Xiao (Pedigree Number 557) successfully gave birth to a set of panda triplets, namely Meng Meng, Shuai Shuai, and Ku Ku in the early morning of the 29th of July 2014, at Chimelong Safari Park. China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda has certified that all triplets are in good health and remain the only surviving giant panda triplets in the world.
