Largest portable railway model

The largest portable model railway is 694.9 m (2279 ft 10 in) and was achieved by The Railnuts (UK), at the NEC, in Birmingham, UK, on 27 April 2024.

The attempt took place at UK’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) during the Model World Live gathering. The model scenery depicted rail tracks and stations on a section of journey from London to Birmingham in UK. The miniature model was professionally replicated and made with commercially available, handmade and 3-D printer made components. There were 4 concentric usable tracks with a ‘fiddle yard’ for the non operational trains.
