The most No. 1 hits in The Official MENA Chart is 3, achieved by Jung Kook (b. Jeon Jung-kook; South Korea), as of the week ending 7 December 2023. This year, “Seven” (feat. Latto; 20-27 July), “3D” (feat. Jack Harlow; 5-12 October) and “Standing Next to You” (9-16 November) have all enjoyed two weeks at the chart's top spot.

Twelve acts have reached No.1 on the chart, which launched in November 2022, including Rema, Miley Cyrus, Jimin, Mahmoud Al Turky, Nawal and TalkinToys – but not one of them has hit the top spot with more than one track.

The weekly top 20 collects data from major streaming platforms across 13 MENA countries, covering a population of more than 300 million people: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.

The Official MENA Chart monitors streams from Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify, YouTube and Anghami – the first legal music streaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa, which launched in Lebanon in 2012.
