Peter placed third winning a bronze medal in the 2023 Veteran National Championship for the Budapest Cup. He has recently participated in several international and domestic competitions and is usually competing int he 70+ category. He says that his competitors are always younger fencers because he has nobody in his age group of 90+.
Being the eldest at the international competitions he attended, he and his family decided to make it official and apply for the Guinness World Records title. Peter has been fencing since he was a child and feels this Guinness World Records title crowns all of the trophies and awards won over the years.
