Most wins of a cheese-rolling race (female)

The record for the most wins of the annual Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake race by a woman is four, shared by Florence "Flo" Early (UK) with victories in 2008, 2016, 2018 and 2019, and Ilse Koeppler (UK), who won consecutively from 1941 to 1944.

Ilse Koeppler was still at school when she won her races. During Ilse's reign, a wooden substitute was used owing to war-time rationing; replicas were used up until 1954, when the first race of the year used a real 30-lb (13.6-kg) cheddar (which broke apart during its descent, resulting in the reinstating of the replica for the remainder of the rolls).

Flo Early announced her retirement after spraining her ankle during her fourth victorious cheese race.
