Largest radio merger

Largest deal in radio history took place in 1996 when CBS purchased Infinity Broadcasting for $4.9 billion (£3,167,420,712). The second largest was the $4.4 billion (£2.3 billion) merger between Clear Channel Communications and Jacor Communications in October 1998.
