Longest career as a language teacher (female)

The longest career as a language teacher (female) is 64 years and 33 days, and was achieved by Ye Yuying (b. 16 December 1943, China), who began her career in 1960, and continued to work as a Chinese teacher in Lishui, Zhejiang, China, until 1 April 2024.

Ye Yuying retired from Liancheng Central Primary School in February 1999 and she decided to found Yuying Primary School by herself in the same year. Though her title became the school principle, she is still a Chinese teacher and scheduled with Chinese classes per week. At the age of 80, Ye keeps 6 classes in each week.
