The longest speech at The Game Awards was seven minutes and 59 seconds, and was set by Christopher Judge (USA) on 9 December 2022 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.Accepting the award for Best Performance from legendary actor Al Pacino, Judge began by thanking his "mama", before discussing his role as Kratos in Sony’s God of War series at length. At around the seven minute mark, organisers at The Game Awards tried to “play” Judge off the stage, but instead the rousing music proved the perfect accompaniment to his increasingly emotional speech. Finally, Judge concluded: “And I met Al Pacino.”
