The deepest underground minigolf course is Zip World's 18-hole Underground Golf course situated 500 ft (152 m) below ground in the disused Llechwedd slate mine near Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, UK. Opened on 29 July 2022, the course is spread across four levels and takes around one and a half hours to play. The temperature in the cavern is typically 7°C (45°F).

Other activities available in the former slate mine include a zip line and a bouncy netted obstacle course.

While there are many indoor minigolf courses located in the basements of buildings, also making them subterranean, few reach anywhere near depths like this. There is a six-hole subterranean minigolf course at the Turda Salt Mine (called Rudolf Mine) in Turda, Romania, which reaches 120 m (394 ft) underground. This sits alongside an amphitheatre, billiards tables, bowling lanes and basketball hoops.
