The heaviest breed of chicken is the White Sully, a hybrid of large Rhode Island Reds and other varieties developed by Grant Sullens of West Point, California, USA. The largest, a rooster named Weirdo, reportedly weighed 10 kg (22 lb) in January 1973 and was so aggressive that he killed two cats and maimed a dog which ventured too close.
