The most complicated single computer graphics (CG) model in a film is the robot Devastator in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) built by Industrial Light & Magic. The robot is made out of 52,632 pieces (more than ten times the number of individual parts in an ordinary car), 11,716,127 polygons, and 6,467 textures. It took up 32 gigabytes of computer space. In the film, several Decepticon robots called Constructicons combine to form Devastator, who destroys one of the pyramids in Egypt.
