The lowest total score (first 36 holes) in a golf major tournament is 127, achieved by Lee Jeong-eun (South Korea) at the 2021 Evian Championship in Évian-les-Bains France, on 22–23 July 2021.

Lee Jeong-eun, aka Jeongeun Lee6, shot a first-round 66 before equalling the lowest-ever major tournament round with a 61. Despite rewriting the record books, Lee6 was not able to closer out the championship title, losing to Minjee Lee in a play-off. The men’s major record is 128, set by Brooks Koepka at the 2019 PGA Championship.
