The largest electric bus depot has the capacity of 478 buses, and was achieved by The Ministry of Transport and The Public Works Authority – Ashghal (both Qatar), in Doha, Qatar, on 16 October 2022.
The electric bus depot was built to support and enhance public bus network operations in line with future public transport demands. In addition, it aims to contribute to transportation during the 2022 FIFA World Cup and beyond.
