Włodarczyk confirmed her status as the greatest women’s hammer thrower in history with her third consecutive Olympic title in Tokyo. The 35-year-old threw 78.48 m (257 ft 5 in) in the fourth round to seal victory. She also has four world championship titles to her name and is the world-record holder in the event.
