The most launches by a single rocket model in a calendar year is 132, achieved by SpaceX's fleet of Falcon 9 Block 5 rockets between 3 January and 31 December 2024. The total climbs to 134 if the two launches of the Falcon Heavy (which has a first stage composed of three Falcon 9 boosters) are included.

The number of rockets successfully launched by SpaceX in 2024 was greater than the total number of launches made by Russia, China, Japan and the European Union combined. Most were in support of SpaceX's Starlink satellite constellation, though the total also includes military launches for the US Space Force, ferry flights to the International Space Station and commercial satellite launches for other clients.

Of those 132 launches, only five were carried out using brand new boosters – the other missions were launched by boosters that had previously flown and landed. Another four new boosters were used in Falcon Heavy launches, including the first launch of a Falcon Heavy (supporting the Europa Clipper exploration mission) in which all three boosters were completely used up and ditched in the sea.

Two boosters – B1078 and B1080 – launched ten times over the course of the year, and several more launched eight or nine times.
