The tallest human tower supported partially by a perch pole was achieved by the Kehaiovi Troupe (BLG), at the Blackpool Tower Circus on 16 July 1986. The tower was formed of seven acrobats, with troupe leader George Kehaiov as the base, holding both the perch pole and the acrobats on his shoulders. Four acrobats stood on each other's shoulders above George, each using their hands to steady the perch pole that held another two-person tower.
The topmounter was 13-year-old Magdalena Milosheva, a former gymnast who joined the troupe after being dropped from the Bulgarian Olympic training program. The acrobats were launched up onto the tower using a teeterboard. The Kehaiovi troupe broke their own record, for a six-person tower, which they set during an engagement with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus on 21 July 1976.
