The longest competitive ski jump (male) is 254.5 metres (834 feet 11 inches), achieved by Domen Prevc (Slovenia) in Planica, Slovenia, on 30 March 2025.
Prevc was competing at the final leg of the 2024/25 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, held at the Letalnica bratov Gorišek ski flying hill. The previous record of 253.5 m had stood since 2017. Domen’s brother Peter and his sister Nika have also set world records for the longest men and women’s ski jumps.
