The Hajj Terminal at the £2.8 billion (US$ 5.6 billion) King Abdul-Aziz airport near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, designed to cater for the annual influx of pilgrims, is the world's largest roofed structure, covering 150 ha (370 acres).
The terminal was completed in 1981.
