The most expensive women's football (soccer) transfer is £1,100,000 ($1,475,710), paid by Orlando Pride to Tigres UANL for Lizbeth Ovalle (Mexico) on 21 August 2025.
This surpassed the £1,000,000 ($1,340,290) paid by Arsenal WFC to Liverpool FCW for Olivia Smith (Canada) in July 2025.
Ovalle made her debut at at age 17 and became Tigres UANL's all-time leading scorer with 136 goals and 103 assists in 294 appearances during an eight-year period.
Ovalle has 81 international caps for Mexico, scoring 20 goals and was included in the team of the tournament at the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup held in the United States.
