The most wins of the AFL’s Norm Smith medal is three, achieved by Dustin Martin (Australia) for Richmond Tigers in 2017, 2019 and 2020.
First presented in 1979, the Norm Smith Medal is awarded to the player judged by a panel of independent experts to have been the “best on ground” in the Australian Football League (AFL) Grand Final. Martin recorded four goals and 21 disposals as Richmond defeated Geelong by 31 points on 24 October 2020 to claim their third premiership in four years.
