England hit 26 sixes in their One-Day International (ODI) record score of 498 for 4 against the Netherlands at VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen, Netherlands, on 17 June 2022. Jos Buttler cleared the rope 14 times in his 70-ball 162 not out, with further maximums from Phil Salt (3), Dawid Malan (3) and Liam Livingstone, who weighed in with six sixes in his 22-ball 66 not out at the end of the visitors’ innings.

England bettered their own mark of 25 sixes, set in an ICC Cricket World Cup match against Afghanistan at Old Trafford in Manchester, UK, on 18 June 2019.
