Among the most coveted weapons ever to have gained infamy throughout Destiny history, the pulse rifle known as Redrix’s Claymore is statistically proven to be the most difficult to obtain. On August 2, 2018, Destiny development studio Bungie posted an infographic to shed light upon player activity in the wake of the Destiny 2 Warmind update of May 8, 2018. Crucially, the Warmind expansion ushered in the Glory Crucible competitive ranking system, in which raw skill is required to progress to the top Fabled Glory rank. Unlike the Whisper of the Worm exotic sniper rifle, earned upon completion of a gruelling story-related mission, Redrix’s Claymore requires hundreds of games to reach the required 2,200 points that qualify for Fabled with an average win-loss ratio. Consequently, Bungie revealed that only 8,750 players owned Redrix’s Claymore, as opposed to 194,051 in possession of Whisper of the Worm. Sometimes you just have to give the best competitive players their dues.
