At 458.45 m (1,504 ft), Mont (previously known as Seawise Giant, Happy Giant, Jahre Viking and Knock Nevis) was the longest ship ever built. In 2010, she also became the largest ship ever scrapped. The ultra large crude carrier (ULCC) ship had a deadweight of 564,763 tonnes (622,544 US tons; 555,843 UK tons).
She was originally ordered in 1974 and delivered in 1979. In 2010 she was scrapped at the Alang Ship-Breaking Yard in India. She was the largest ship ever built.
